Onnana to play for Man U then go to Africa
That must have cost Man U a decent wedge to get that through, makes a bit of a mockery of our players missing on Tuesday evening, cannot wait until we’re a big 6 club to receive all the extra advantages.

'As if that was likely asking the ex Brighton manager Hughton for permission'

He grew up supporting West ham and played for us so I would think his allegiances might lie closer to Forest Gate than Brighton & Hove. In any case i suspect the decision was more in the Ghanaian FA's hands than his.

It is bullshit though as an extra day to join up with the National squad would have made fuck all difference to their tournamenm preparations

Kudus had a slight hamstring injury so probably couldnt have played anyway
As if that was likely asking the ex Brighton manager Hughton for permission

The idea of Onana being allowed to play for Man U against Tottenham the day before the tournament starts is crazy though
Unless the Cameroon manager also thinks he is shit but doesnt have the balls to drop him

Yup this is the Ghanaian FA more than anyone else. Can't really compare it to what Egypt, Liverpool and Salah may or may not have done.

Only problem for me would have been if other Ghanaian players were allowed to go later than Kudus.

It's up to the player's country to decide.

Salah/Liverpool have a lot more clout than Kudus/West Ham.

Onana is an odd one as obviously he left the World Cup after falling out with Rigobert Song. They haven't long made-up so I'm surprised they're bending over backwards for him, although the keeper is a bit different I suppose.

This is worthy of a thread? You sound like a whining Scouser, get over it. Yea, we got fucked over a bit, big deal, it was one player who Moyes didn't even play at the beginning of the season, but now he's Maradona and we can't do without him and then proceed to chuck a home game against a tin pot club like Brighton who had their second string out, and all in front of 60,000+ fans.

Apparently its different for keepers, they can go later, quite why i don't know, maybe the rules were changed for ManU?????

Does seem a bit unfair though, every other team except West Ham and Brighton had their African internationals available for this round, not that Brighton have any!

Imagine if Liverpool had been playing instead of us the other night and Salah couldn't play and they drew or lost, they would be screaming from the rooftops at the injustice.

They should've paid a decent wedge to send him to the tournament early, he's fucking hopeless.
